Gift wrapping this year is super simple – shiny white gift wrap lined with brown paper, surrounded by a band of vintage book pages (my dh’s old concrete textbooks from Uni days, to be exact!) + metres of twine, topped off with a simple grungy stamped tag attached with a raw wood peg… viola!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas planned!

Ok, I’ve been itching to share my latest A2Z creations with you, but I can’t show you all of them, as they’re not released yet, but here is the November release – a ‘Life Time’ scraplet set –
+ here are more cards I put together, using some of the older Scraplets. [ I say older, but they are among my alltime favourites!]
I love the raw chipboard, and coupled with vintage sheet music, some stitching & quality white cardstock – viola!
thanks go to kristina.marie for her inspiration! ;]
I’ve been having fun entering comps in new places this week. I love trying new things & a good comp is just the ticket!
Here’s my take on Bon’s Colour Challenge over @ Bon’s Scraps [http://bonsscraps.com.au/] – blue, brown, red, stitching, packaging, red paint splatters. + the ‘Splatter It’ weekly challenge over @ Vintage Plum [http://www.vintageplum.com/]
Packaging is the top of the lead wrapping from the top of a scotch bottle;
Stitching is under the quote & a small highlight on the top right of the photo;
Red paint splatter… I think you can spot that!!! LOL
The music PP is a piece of vintage sheet music – I’m obsessed with fossicking through antique stores for this stuff atm!
Here’s my entry into a groovy combined comp @ Lime Tart [http://www.limetart.com/products/]. The comp involved using a downloadable gift bag + printable ‘stamps’ to create gift bags.
Hmm, is that more vintage sheet music?? Yep!! ;] + cute little chipboard bracket by A2Z Scraplets [http://a2zscraplets.typepad.com/]

I do love me some vintage, but it has to be on a budget!!
My Hubby had a rare day off today & he took me antiquing. We didn’t find the furniture we were after, but I had 2 wins!!
I’ve been looking for some (affordable) old music for months now, & finally found a whole box full @ only $2 ea!! On to the next antique store, and I find a stack of old books salvaged from our State Government archives. One of these beautiful books is over 100 years old! (that’s quite old for us Aussies!) I’m feeling like a very lucky shopper today! ;]
